I have a question about fans and air conditioners. With one is better to have?
and with one will give out the most air and cool the place down a fan or a air conditioners?

- a fan only circulates the air.......... an air conditioner cools and filters the air before being blown into the room. There for if you want to be cool an air conditioner is the better of the 2
- a fan only moves the air around it doesnt cool the air down, an air conditioner cools the air and cleans it.
- It depends on how much money you have. An air conditioner will keep a room cool, but it costs a lot more to buy and operate than a fan. Fans don't actually cool the room down, they just make it seem cooler on your skin. They are a good alternative if you're trying to save money, but they won't help too much when the temperature is really high.
- an air conditioner will make the air feel cooler cause it will take the moisture out. My favorite is a fan with exhaust- fan and exchange- where both features run at once- one side draws out the air in the room - the other side draws in cooler air. Closing curtain on hot side of the house and opening northern windows helps. and fresh air is always better than stale hot air. We also have a ceiling fan- make sure it is set for summer or you will COOK!
- AC removes the humidity from the room and cools the temperature; a fan moves the air around the room. If the room is hot, the fan will move warm air around the room. Buy an AC; Lowes has an Energy Star unit, 5000BTU, for $134. This is adequate for a medium size room.
- Living in Florida, I can attest that definitely an Air Conditioner is the best one. The fan will only circulates the air in the room an not really getting rid of the humidity and warm air.
