Wall heating and air conditioning unit leaking water, How can I fix this?
I have a wall unit heating and air conditioning unit that is leaking water onto the carpet. I am assuming something is clogged. What do I do to fix it? Help!

- With the AC running it produces condensate (water) that has to be drained off either to a drain in the floor or sump pump or to the outside. The drain is probably clogged or otherwise stopped up which causes the condensate to take the path of least resistance and ends up on your floor. The drain will have to be located and cleared. You could attempt it but I would call in a tech.
- it sounds like either the drain line off of it is either clogged up, wich using some compressed air you can blow out, or is has an internal pump that might be out. more than likely is just clogged. with a better idea of what ya have could give ya a better answer.
- I am assuming from your description that this is a window unit. The pan on the bottom has a drain on the outside part, either in the bottom or on the side flange facing out. They are most likely clogged. You will have to clear the clog before it will drain properly.
