  1. shut it off for a day, and let it thaw itself out
  2. put some hot warter on it it will probaly work i guess
  3. Defrost your air conditioner? If it's freezing up, it needs freon. Dude, call a service or repair person.
  4. Your best bet is to just turn it off and let it thaw out on its own. You may want to check your fresh/recirculating air control and change it. or your filter may be dirty.
  5. turn it off 4 24hrs.
  6. Never heard of airconditioner getting frozen. They are set to operate above freezing point (usually about 20 deg.C) Problem must be with the expansion valve or moisture in gas, usually due to defective dryer circuit. Get professional help. Even if you shut off for sometime/ use hot water, the problem will again crop up. After reading other replies, I think 'Jim' has a good point. Check that (air-filter), first.
  7. Turn it off for aa day and let defrost, then check freon to see if it has enough
  8. Turn it off! Change the filter!. Make sure the fan on the condensing unit outside is turning. Wash the condensing unit outside after you disconnect power. If that doesn't correct it then the unit is low on freon.
