why Central air conditioning unit unable to reduce house temp to desired temp?

Ie. (outside temp 85) inside temp 78 desired temp 72 unit unable to get to 72 until night time when cools outside Unit runs constantly does put out cold air. Had outside fan replaced 1.5 years ago and they said pressure in units good

  1. Your condensing unit coil could be dirty. with the unit running touch the smaller of the 2 lines coming out of it. If the line is hot, try shutting the power off to the unit outside and washing the coil with a garden hose. If the line is cool the unit is low on freon.
  2. your house may not be as tight as you think air leaking out of outlets and things like that.
  3. Freon is most likely low or dirty filter.
  4. any good acman willclean the condenser when they take the fan off also that is the right way to clean a condenser backflushing frezzing cold in am hot afternoon clean them
  5. Dirty Evap coil?
