Does the strata management be responsible for the repair cost of a central air condition?

I am living in a unit,the fan motors of the central air condition had been burn't. I wonder whether the strata management be responsible the repair cost?

1. If you are renting, then yes they be responsible.
2. not really, unless the central air is one system that operates through the entire block of units. if its a system that belongs to your unit though, probably not. Generally should check the agreement with the management, and their by-laws. stuff like ac is generally your responsibility though.
