Replacing door spring in a Wedgewood Rheem Stove?

How do I replace the door spring in a circa 1952 Wedgewood Rheem Stove? I don't have a model number but it is an oven/broiler side-be-side model with 4 burners and a center grill on the stovetop. The oven door no longer stays closed and I assume it is a faulty spring.
